Even-par 73 gives Jill McGill U.S. Senior Womens Open crown, her third U.S. Golf Association title

KETTERING (Ohio) — Jill McGill won Sundays U.S. Senior Womens Open to win her third U.S. title. Golf Association title, winning with an even-par score of 73 to win by one stroke over Leta Lindley.

McGill, 50, finished at 3-under 289 on NCR Country Club South Course. She also won the 1993 U.S. Womens Amateur as well as the 1994 U.S. Womens Amateur Public Links.

Lindley scored a 74.

Catriona Matthew shot a tie-breaking 73 to finish third at 1 over with Helen Alfredsson (2019 winner), who finished with an 76.

Annika Sorenstam, the defending champion shot 77 to tie for fifth at 1 with 2018 winner Laura Davies (78), and Juli Inkster (73) The round began with Davies and Alfredsson tied for first.
