After a three-year absence, the Presidents Cup is back.
In a matchup of the best golfers, the U.S. team will face off against the International team. The U.S. is currently the favourite, boasting the number one ranking in the world. 1 Scottie Scheffler, No. 4 Patrick Cantlay, No. 5 Xander Schauffele, No. 7 Justin ThomasNo. 9 Collin MorikawaAmong others.
International team captain Trevor ImmelmanWe had to chase several players, including the No. 2 Cameron Smith, moved to LIV Golf. Players such as No. 17 Hideki Matsuyama, No. 19 Sungjae Im, No. 22 Joohyung Tom Kim, No. 26 Corey ConnersNo. 30 Adam ScottThey are not slouches.
Although the competition will be fierce, the Presidents Cup can be considered a charity event. As such, we can expect a slightly lighter tone than on a Masters Sunday at Augusta National.
These are some of our favorite moments as they play Thursday at Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, North Carolina.
