Woods said, I didnt putt well today. I blocked a lot more putts earlier and this is probably my highest score today. Probably shouldve shot 5-6 more than this easily. I just didnt make those putts in the middle and early rounds. They werent difficult putts. I just hit bad shots and had a terrible finish.
Woods right leg and right foot were both surgically repaired. They seemed to be able to withstand the stress of playing 18 holes consecutive days.
Woods will make the cut if he makes it. This will be his first four-round round in an official PGA Tour event. He finished 47th at Aprils Masters. This was his first official event since he was seriously hurt in a car accident outside Los Angeles in Feb 2021.

Woods made an unfortunate mistake on the par-3 6th hole. Woods tee shot hit the green, but it rolled back and stopped just below a greenside bunker. He considered chipping off the green, but decided to putt. His putt was not difficult enough and he rolled into the bunker. He was able climb up and down and made a 5-footer to make bogey.
Woods stated, If I chipped the putt up on top theres a chance it could actually return to the front portion of the green. I was actually trying hit my putt over to where [Justin Thomas]It was, and the hill caught it more quickly than I thought and ended up in a bunker. I was trying to give myself a chance of making par and at best bogey. I was able to see that I made two poor calls on the wind on 6 and 9 and ended up losing 2 shots there.
Woods made a second bogey on the eighth hole, par-4. His tee shot had hit a fairway bunker and his shot three landed over the green. Woods ninth hole was his final hole. His second shot hit a greenside bunker, and he couldn’t get it up and down.
