Final four LIV Golf teams announced ahead of 2023 opener

Monday was the last day of the LIV Golf Leagues final four teams. Phil MickelsonThe HyFlyers GC circuit is undergoing a transformation with its second season set for this week.

Mickelsons squad welcomes two new members. Cameron Tringale: Three-time winner of the PGA Tour Brendan SteeleAnd James Piot, who won 2021 U.S. After leaving Michigan State, he became an amateur and moved to LIV Golf.

Steele, Piot will be replaced Bernd WiesbergerAnd Matthew WolffMickelsons Team Wiesberger joined Martin Kaymers Cleeks GC and Wolff forms part of Brooks KoepkaThis years Smash GC

Bubba WatsonRangeGoats GC now has a DP World Tour star Thomas PietersWatson is ranked 35th globally. Watsons team also contains Harold Varner IIIAnd Talor GoochThe 4Aces won a team championship last season thanks to, Watson missed last season due to injury.

Kevin NaTwo new players join the Iron Heads GC, a former PGA Tour winner Danny LeeAnd Scott VincentLast season, he was a member of four LIV Golf teams.

Dean BurmesterThe newest addition is, a two-time winner of the DP World Tour, and a rookie this season on the PGA Tour. Louis Oosthuizens Stinger GC. Each of Oosthuizens four players is from South Africa. Branden Grace2011 Masters champion Charl SchwartzelThese are the other options.

The eight additional LIV teams were announced earlier in this month.

Hudson SwaffordHaving played most of the last season for Niblicks GC (now RangeGoats GC), Swafford announced on Sunday that he would miss LIV Golf’s second season due to a hip injury. Swafford won the PGA Tours 2022 American Express three times, including the win.

Swafford posted on Instagram that she was struggling with a hip injury that has led to a decline in my performance on-course. After consulting with a specialist I was advised that surgery was the best option for me to make a full recovery.

Friday is the start of the LIV season at Mayakoba, Mexico.
