Sources told ESPN that two more PGA Tour players and one of the top players on the DP World Tour will join the LIV Golf League.
DP World Tour star Thomas PietersNo. 34 in the Official World Golf Ranking and past PGA Tour winners Danny Lee Brendan SteeleYou have signed up to the LIV Golf League, which will begin its second season in Mexico next Wednesday.
LIV Golf will announce their additions Monday, when four additional team rosters will be revealed. LIV Golf had earlier this week announced that PGA Tour players were being added to their ranks. Mito Pereira Sebastian MunozThey were moving on.
Pieters from Belgium is the highest-ranked player among all the new additions. He has six international victories including the 2021 Portugal Masters, and the 2022 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He was a European player in the 2016 Ryder Cup. He also tied for 16th at the 2021 Olympics Tokyo mens tournament.
Pieters won at Riviera Country club the 2012 NCAA individual championship while playing at the University of Illinois. Pieters, 31, expressed frustration via Twitter that he was not invited to Rivieras Genesis Invitational.

Pieters has made 49 starts on PGA Tour, but is not a member. Pieters tied for 27th place at the U.S. Open. He also tied for 28th at The Open.

Steele, 39 years old, has won three PGA Tour events: the Valero Texas Open in 2011 and the Safeway Opens in 2016 and 2017. Steele is ranked 122nd worldwide and has made more than $20 million in 297 career starts. This season, he made nine starts, including a tie at the CJ Cup in South Carolina last October and a tie at the Farmers Insurance Open last March.
Steele was due to play in the Genesis Invitational this Wednesday, but withdrew from the event on Tuesday for unknown reasons.
Lee, a New Zealander, won the 2015 Greenbrier Classic in a four man playoff. Lee was ranked 259th worldwide and made 303 tours. He earned more than $15 million. He made 11 starts in this season, including a tie with 16th at American Express last month.
Lee, 32 years old, played in this weeks Genesis Invitational and missed the cut after a 36-hole total 3 over.
