Unfortunately, golf practice often doesn’t replicate on course conditions. But this Me and My Golf Putting Green is different from most training aids and will change the way you practice forever.
When you go to a driving range, you usually have a flat lying and a perfect hitting zone. When you play golf, you are rarely faced with flat lies, but instead, you have to deal mainly with slopes and rough.
The same is true for putting.
Most indoor putting greens prepare you for straight putts but as you know, a majority of your putts during the round break one way or the other… Which makes it hard to practice with purpose.
Until now… this putting mat is about to change the game and help you have insane confidence on the greens.
Me and My Golf has become one of the most popular names on YouTube and social media. I’ve been watching their videos for years and got a chance to meet them – Piers Ward & Andy Proudman – at the 2023 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida.
After watching golf videos for many years, it was nice to see the training aids they have. While all of them are super helpful and make it easier to practice with purpose, their “Breaking Ball” putting mat blew my mind.
- The Breaking Ball Putting Mat from Me and My Golf is a revolutionary putting surface.
- This putting mat comes in two sizes. 7.5 and 11 feet to help you work on the most important shots in golf.
- This putting pad not only helps you to practice straight putts; it also comes with customized golf balls so that you can practice breaking putts. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about adjusting the mat to account for slope.

As I mentioned before, most putts on the golf course aren’t straight (about 90% of putts have some break). But almost every putting mat doesn’t allow you to practice right to left or left to right breaking putts.
While some allow you to practice breaking putts – like the BirdieBall – it’s not that easy to set up. You have to raise it and attach an extra accessory in order to break the putt one way or another. This mat allows for sliding putts to be practiced without causing any damage to the mat.
You can use golf balls that break in any direction. According to Me and My Golf “Our golf ball technology is a perfect simulation of real-world breaking putts, achieved by weight biased golf balls.”
Each mat includes three golf balls A ball that is red, green and blue. The green ball has a light break, the blue ball has a medium break and the red ball has a heavy break.
The line should be down the middle of the ball and the weight on the side. The line should be aimed at the intended starting line (ex. The green ball should be aimed at the green line. If the ball is weighed on the right, it will break right left and vice versa.
After that, you can practice the breaking putt. Work on your setup and get comfortable with sliding putsts.
This mat has not only the breaking ball technology but also markings for each foot. This will allow you the opportunity to practice a variety of putts, and improve your confidence within 10 feet. It has also been marked with the start line to help you improve your setup so that your ball always starts on the right line.
This mat also simulates the speed of many greens. It will roll at a medium to rapid pace, depending on whether it is used with carpet or hardwood flooring. It’s close to an 11 if you use hardwood which is the speed at most country clubs.
This mat is available in two sizes. The 7.5 and 11 foot models are available. Whether you need a putting mat for your home, office, or golf studio, there is a perfect size for you. Plus, you can easily roll it up if you want to store it in the proactive carry bag.
A free video training program is also included with the purchase of this putting mat. The videos show you how to set up your mat, play break, adjust your putting routine and more.
Scanning the QR code in the package will give you access to Piers and Andy’s videos to help you improve your putts.

Most golfers don’t practice putting enough. It is important, but it is also one of the least-practiced parts of the game. But most mats don’t prepare you for the course as you can only practice straight putts.
Breaking Ball Putting Mat’s new design allows you to practice straight putts and breaking putts at home. Even 10–15 minutes a day on this mat can do wonders for your game.
Until this putting mat, there really wasn’t a way to practice them (without having to build your own putting green). With this new training tool, you can now practice all kinds of breaking putts in either direction.
There is no “best putting grip” but instead, finding one that gives you the most confidence and most consistent roll. Tiger Woods is a great golfer who uses a traditional grip, while other great putters like Jordan Speith prefer putting with their cross-handed grip.
Other golfers prefer long putters or prayer grips. Ultimately, it’s finding one you can use to hit the putt on line consistently. Make sure to check out our putting grip encyclopedia to figure out which one is best for your short game.
I plan to use this mat regularly and am very impressed!
Let’s face it, most of them are pretty similar in terms of design and only prepare you for straight putts. While some mats have the ability to alter the break, it’s not easy to set up and use this feature very much.
But this putting pad is different. You can practice straight putts and breaking putts without changing your setup. Follow the instructions and use the different balls to master your left to right and right to left putts.
There’s no doubt this is one of the best putting mats available and should help you gain confidence on putts inside 10 feet. Finally, there’s a putting pad that will help you lower your scores and make fewer putts.
The Breaking Ball Putting Mat will change the way you putt. You can use this mat at home, in a studio for golf, or even at work to master short putts and breaking puts.
Don’t forget, very few putts are straight putts on the golf course!
Make sure to practice with a mat which can help you with the majority of your putts in the rounds. The best part is that it’s easy to use and doesn’t require anything extra to practice breaking putts.
Once you start using this you’ll be amazed at how much more confidence you have on the greens. Paired with some of the best putting drills, this mat will change the way you practice forever.
