The devices in this list are easy to set up, cost-effective, and portable. Although most of these devices are simple, I added some premium models that measure ball speed, tempo and smash factor. Swing radars are a great way to train and also allow players of all ages the chance to enjoy the game.

Sport Sensors designed the radar to work with sponge balls. This makes it ideal for indoor use, even if you don’t have a golf simulator.

The main problem with this device is its inability to measure shots under 40 mph. You want to improve your golf swings’ velocity. This restriction does not prevent you from improving your short game tempo.

On the positive side, it records speeds of up to 200 mph, which is 50 mph faster than Berkshire’s ceiling. This radar does not have a speed limit so you don’t need to worry about it.

This device uses microwave doppler radar to measure clubhead speeds between 20 mph and 200 mph. It records lower impact shots, unlike the premium version. It does not have the swing tempo feature.

Sports Sensors recommends placing the device 8-10 inches away from the impact zone in order to increase accuracy. The manufacturer suggests that the device will last for at least 2 years.
