This Titleist Hybrid bag review will help you decide if it is right for your game.
As you probably know, golf requires a lot of accessories from rangefinders, yardage books, tees, and other gadgets. A quality golf bag is essential to protect your expensive gear and clubs.
But not all bags are created equal – some are $100 while others are more than $400. Some are cart bags, others are hybrid bags, some are stand bags, and some players just use Sunday bags.
Today, we’ll touch on why a hybrid bag is a great choice for a lot of players and how it makes it easier to walk vs. ride in a golf cart.
Titleist Hybrid 14 Bag Review
Titleist is one of the top names in golf. They make some of the best products available. They have the “number one ball in golf” not to mention great drivers (like the TSR series), irons, wedges, and putters.
What about the golf bags themselves? Are they as good?
We’ll discuss all that and more today.
Takeaways
- A hybrid bag combines the features of both a cartbag and a standbag.
- Hybrid bags have the “best of both worlds” as it has a stand but also tons of storage and individual dividers like a cart bag.
- Hybrid bags are best when riding in a golf cart or pushing with a cart as they’re slightly heavier and bigger than stand bags.
- This bag made it to our list of best hybrid golf bags
Before we get into the Titleist Hybrid bag review, let’s take a look at the dimensions.
- 9 pockets
- 6.1 pounds

14-Way Divider
The 14-way divider is the first benefit of this bag. Each club has its own compartment so you don’t have to worry about damaging the shafts and/or clubheads.
Plus, the top-center divider is nearly three times the size of the normal one. This is where my Alignment sticks and keep training aids like The Stack System. Some people use it to hold umbrellas or putters.
While I like the divider system to keep my clubs safe, I don’t love the Polyester material used. Clubs tend to get stuck and can be a little frustrating at times when you’re in a hurry.
Tons of Storage
The amount of storage in this bag is another perk. This is why I prefer hybrid bags vs. stand bags – there are a lot more pockets which helps save space for all your golf gear. Pockets include:
- Expandable exterior pockets
- Large cooler pocket to keep drinks and food cold.
- Velour lined pocket for watches and valuables such as rings, phones, etc.
- Huge ball pocket that is big enough to carry 10–15 balls plus my launch monitor.
- Two large external water bottle pockets, easy to reach when walking or pushing the round.
The bag has a clip that holds a golfbrush and two Velcro glove landing patches. Overall, I love the many pockets and don’t have any issues with lack of storage.
Choose from a wide range of colors
The color options are another plus with this Titleist bag, and all other cart/standbags. You can choose between 14 colors in either single color or two-tone options.
I went with the all black as I wanted something that won’t get dirty and is easy to clean. There are also some great options available for women including a gray/pink, all-red, and turquoise design.
Push-Cart Design
This hybrid stand bag from Titleist is also push cart/trolley friendly. Since it’s a few pounds heavier than a stand bag I’d suggest using it with a push cart instead of carrying it on your shoulders.
The straps would benefit from a little cushioning, and it could be a long game if you played more than 18 holes. While you can certainly carry this bag, if you’re playing more than 18 or multiple days in a row, this bag would be better on a push cart or riding cart instead – it also does have an integrated cart strap tunnel to keep your clubs secure as well.

What is a hybrid bag?
A hybrid bag is a combination of a cart bag and a stand bag.
Stand bags are some of the lightest and easiest to carry (aside from Sunday bags) not to mention having a stand so your clubs can rest comfortably. Plus, they typically have a dual strap system so they’re easier to carry during the round.
Cart bags are more heavy, have a single strap, and designed to be used in a cart. They are better organized, have 14-way dividers and more storage.
A hybrid bag offers the best of both worlds; it has a stand, a 14-way compartment divider and plenty of storage. Ultimately it’s best to push these bags as they’re slightly heavier than stand bags.
Is the Titleist Hybrid stand bag waterproof
This Titleist hybrid bag will keep you dry and confident in the rain.
How to organize golf clubs in a cart bag with 14 dividers? How do you pack your 14-way golf bag?
Organizing your bag is important so you don’t accidentally leave any clubs behind and not damage your clubs either. It’s best to put your driver and woods at the top of your bag, then iron, then wedges.
Some bags come with a putter compartment, while others have an extra large compartment that you can use to store training aids or other items. Alignment sticks. Make sure to read, “How to Organize A Golf Bag” to learn the best ways to organize your golf gear.
My Experience
Before getting this Titleist Golf bag, I had a Nike standbag with a fourteen-way divider. (See review here). It was more like a stand bag rather than a hybrid, but still had plenty of pockets and space.
The only problem was the white which got really dirty and wasn’t the type of material that you could easily clean. That’s why I made the switch to this new Titleist golf bag.
Overall I like the bag but can’t say I love it – I’d likely give it a 8.5/10. It’s a lot wider than a normal stand bag but it does have a ton of compartments and endless storage. Not to mention the material used inside the dividers is kind of scratchy and not sure how long it’ll last over time.
Final Thoughts
Titleist makes no shortage of great products – from golf balls, clubs, bags, and more. But I think this bag could use some improvements. Overall, this bag is great as it has many benefits including:
- Matching rain hood.
- Choose from a wide range of colors.
- Quality stand system
- Large cooler pocket and plenty of other storage.
- Removable Golf Ball Pocket for Name or Logo Customization
