The 2023 PGA TourThe WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play continues on Wednesday. The Austin Country Club, a par 71 course in Austin Texas, will host the event. This is the seventh year that the Austin Country Club has hosted WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. The purse is $20,000,000 because it is an Elevated eventOn the PGA Tour.
The field is filled with stars, as the PGA Tour’s best players are represented here You have taken a commitmentParticipating in high-level events Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy Max HomaAmong the notable participants are: Scheffler, a 2014-18 University of Texas graduate, is looking to win the WGC–Dell Technologies Match Play a second year in a row.
The format divides players into 16 groups of four to play round-robin on Wednesday, Friday, and Thursday. The round of 16 will be decided by the player with the highest score in each group. The round 16 is single-elimination and the victors will advance to Saturday afternoon’s quarterfinals. Sunday will see the semifinals and championship matches.
