Miguel Angel Jimenez, Billy Andrade card 8-under 64s to share lead after second round of Boeing Classic

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — Miguel Angel JimenezFor a share of the Boeing Classic lead, shot a 8-under 64 Saturday Billy Andrade.

Jimenez shot a bogey-free round in match with Andrade at 10-under134 at The Club on Snoqualmie Ridge.

Moving day, like people say, yes? Jimenez said. We are moving, 8 under par today. Its a bogey free round, very solid, and consistent.

The 58 year-old Spanish star has 12 senior wins, including two of the first three events in this seasons season. He won 21 times on European tour.

Andrade, also at 58, birdied par-5 18th for an impressive 66. After four wins on the PGA Tour, he now has three victories on 50-and-over.

Putter today, Andrade said. Putter has been absent for most of the year. When you start making a few it becomes contagious. These greens can be really difficult.

K.J. ChoiOne of five players tied for first round lead, he shot a 69 to join Gene Sauers(64) Stephen Ames(68) at 8 below

Darren Clarke(66), was 7 under with Charles Schwab cup leader Steven Alker (68), David McKenzie(64) Joe Durant (63).

Jerry KellyShaw Charity Classic winner Alker was tied for 11th at five under after a score of 69. Kelly and Alker are the only two-time winners this season.

Local favorite Fred Couples(71) Steve Stricker (72) were 4 under.
