Oliver Wilson ends eight-year winless streak at Made in Himmerland

Englands Oliver WilsonTwo birdie putsts were made from 65 feet on the back nine. This win was the Made in HimmerLand event. It also ended a nearly eight-year-long victory drought.

Wilson, ranked No. 745, Wilson rolled in the long putsts on No. 13 and then on to No. 17 to take the lead. He kept his cool to par the last hole, hitting his drive from a small mound instead of a tee to finish with a 4-under-67 and be one shot ahead. Ewen FergusonScotland

Wilson had not finished in the top 10 on the European tour since being tied for fourth in the 2019 event.

I was confident that I could accomplish everything I had done to rebuild my game. I was so calm there that I almost enjoyed every hole. Its quite special, Wilson stated.

I am so proud of myself, and I have a great team around. Theyve all stood by me through some difficult times, so this is for them.
