Peter Uihlein takes 1-shot lead at LIV Golf Invitational-Jeddah

KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY, Saudi Arabia — Peter UihleinAfter a round of 7 under 63 on Saturday, the LIV Golf Invitational Jeddah leader is one-shot ahead going into the final day.

To make up for the double bogey on 13th hole at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City, the American made seven birdies and one Eagle.

Uihlein succeeded the former leader Brooks Koepka, who had a score of 3-under-67.

Sergio Garcia(64) Charl Schwartzel(67) were three strokes away from the lead.

This is the final LIV Golf Invitational, for both individual and team play. For four-man teams, the final event of the inaugural season is in Miami in two weeks time.

LIV Golf is supported by the Saudi Arabia sovereign fund. This is the first tournament in Saudi Arabia, after previous events in London and Boston, Chicago, Boston, Chicago, and Bangkok.
