Rickie Fowler dropping swing coach as he continues to tweak team

Rickie FowlerHe had changed caddies prior to his last start on the 2021-22 PGA Tour, and hes also moving on with his swing coach.

John Tillery (Fowlers former swing coach), confirmed to ESPN that the pair are no more working together. Fowler is now ranked 178th on the Official World Golf Ranking. Fowler split with Joe Skovron in August after tying for 64th at FedEx St. Jude Championship. Joe had been Fowlers caddie since he started playing in 2009.

Tillery stated that he loves Tillery. This job is going to punch you in your gut sometimes. Nothing is more rewarding than watching your team succeed. But nothing is worse than watching them struggle. While the Xs and os of what they need is the easy part, getting it done can be difficult. I am pulling for him and wishing him all the best.

Tillery was instrumental in the transformation Kevin KisnerHe is now one of the top 30 players worldwide. He also works with Sepp StrakaAnd Hudson Swafford, who were PGA Tour winners this past season. Swafford has joined LIV Golf.

Fowler, once ranked as high at fourth in the world, earned more that $41 million during his career. After missing the cut in nine out of 22 tour starts, he earned just over $1million. His best finish was a tie-for-third at the CJ Cup@ Summit in October.

Fowler qualified only for one major in the past season. He tied for 23rd at PGA Championship and was the last to qualify for FedEx Cup Playoffs.
