Thorbjorn Olesen wins in Thailand, eyes Ryder Cup spot

Thorbjorn OlesenHe was able to take four shots at the Thailand Classic in Bangkok and claim his seventh DP World Tour title.

Olesen led by two shots going into Sundays final round. Olesen made birdies at the first second and sixth holes to seal a great showing of front-running.

The 33-year-old walked home with a bogey-free score of 66. He was 24-under for the tournament. This was well clear of Yannick Paul, who finished on 20 under after a final round 68.

Olesen answered a question about whether he could get a spot in Team Europes Ryder Cup team. Although I knew I was far behind, this is a great start to the year. Its now time to keep going, and see if its possible to get in that team.
