The Sony OpenThe PGA Tours second 2023 calendar year event, The PGA Tour, opens on Thursday with many of the best golfers in attendance. Last years winner Hideki Yamayama, aspires to be the first person since Jimmy WalkerTo win the event in back to back seasons (2014-15). The event will take places at the Waialae Country Club which is a par-70 golf course in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Sony Open purse is $7.9 Million, with $1.42 Million designated for the winner.
