Ferguson finished the tournament with a 1-under 69 to win wire-towire at Galgorm Castle. He also won the Qatar Masters in March. He finished the tournament at 12 under.

Ferguson, 26, had a 3-shot lead going into the final round. However, Englands retorted. Richard MansellTo tie for first, he completed his first 10 holes in five under.
Ferguson responded at No.10 with his third birdie. 10 and parred his path home, while Mansell lost three of the four last holes.
Virto finished within a shot thanks in large part to five birdies on seven holes around the turn, but a bogey on No. 14 was the final hole in his title challenge.

Ferguson stated that he banned his mother, father, and other family members from coming to watch the last tournament they attended.
He stated that my dads probably at club buying the full club drink. My whole family revolves around me playing golf. Their happiness seems to be all about me and golf. Its been an enjoyable year, and there are times when it doesnt go so smoothly. I think you should appreciate the times when you do win trophies.
Maja Stark of Sweden won the ladies event. The two events were played on the same courses with different tees. It was her third victory on this years Ladies European Tour. Stark was granted access to the LPGA Tour by having the tournament co-sanctioned.
