Nelly Korda makes up 7 shots, capitalizes on sister Jessica Kordas nightmare day to win in Spain

SOTOGRANDE (Spanish) — American Nelly KordaTo beat 7 strokes by her sister, she shot a 5-under-67 Saturday Jessica KordaWin the Aramco Team Series on Ladies European Tour

Nelly Korda had two bogeys, but it was still enough to win her 3-shot victory over her older sibling and Spaniard. Ana Pelaez TrivinoFrances Pauline Roussin.

Nelly Korda was 13-under at La Reserva Club de Sotogrande.

Nelly Korda stated, I haven’t won this year so it feels nice to get under my belt but it wasn’t the day Jess expected. It was a bit more of an uphill battle, but thats golf and sometimes it happens.

Jessica Korda shot a 5-over-77 to regain her 6-shot lead over Roussin in the final round. After opening with an 11-under 601, Korda shot a 4-under 68 in round 2. This broke the course record and was the lowest round in relation the par of any round on the Ladies European Tour.

Jessica Korda opened Saturday with consecutive birdies, but then she made seven bogeys, a double bogey, and two other birdies.

Third-ranked Nelly Korda made three consecutive birdies on Nos. 7-9 and again on Nos. 12-14, before you pick up the 16th.

It was Nelly Kordas second victory on the Ladies European Tour.
