Padraig Harrington wins second PGA Tour Champions event this year, registers 3-stroke victory

ENDICOTT, N.Y. — Padraig HarringtonHe won the Dicks Sporting Goods Open Sunday to win his second PGA Tour Champions title.

Harrington won by 3 strokes with a 5-under-par 67 at En-Joie Golf Club. Mike WeirAnd Thongchai Jaidee.

I love the greens. Harrington stated that greens were amazing. I pledged to give my putts a fair shot all week. And I did. I even holed my fair share. Played nicely. I liked the golf course.

The 50-year old Irishman won the U.S. Senior Open in Saucon Valley in June. He has also had four runner up finishes and a tie in third in 11 starts this season.

Weir was able to score a 71, while Thongchai managed a 66.

Jim Furyk(68) Vijay Singh(69) were both 12 and under, and 64-years-old Bernhard Langer(68) Followed by 10 under Darren Clarke (69), Ken Tanigawa(68) Gene Sauers (70).
