Masters 2023: All seemed to be well at Champions Dinner
AUGUSTA, Ga. — There was a touch of consternation surrounding this year’s Masters Champions Dinner. This will be due to the presence of LIV golfers.
It felt like it was all talk, however. What was actually going to happen inside the Augusta National clubhouse Hand-to-hand combat? Real Housewives-inspired table-flipping A staged PGA Tour Walk-out?

It was all talk if a picture could speak a thousand words. All seemed to be fine Tuesday night at the second-floor library. The 32 past champions were all smiling from ear to ear during the annual photo.
There is nothing amiss, except for the awkward gap between Phil Mickelson & Bubba Watson.
Larry Mize, 1987 champion, was the first one to arrive just before 6:05 p.m. Scheffler soon followed with Magnolia Lane, and Ben Crenshaw, the emcee, soon followed. Nick Faldo arrived next, holding several Masters flags. Jack Nicklaus arrived at the clubhouse just before 6:30 p.m.
While we can’t verify this, we think the cookie skillet was a huge success.
