IRVINE – Lydia Ko posted a second straight 7 under 65 to lead by 2 strokes following two rounds of the Scottish Open on Friday on the LPGA Tour.

Ko, who tied for third at the Evian Championship last weekend, continues her strong form in perfect conditions over Dundonald Links. She is bogey-free heading into this weekend.

The No. The 4-ranked New Zealander had four birdies in four holes before making the eagle at No. 5. She then birdied her last hole, moving to 14 under overall.

Ko stated that I think especially in these conditions, where the wind has been pretty calm and there is sun out, it is important to take advantage of it.

This week should be a good preparation for next week’s Women’s British Open at Muirfield.

American golfer Lilia Vu shot an impressive 67 and finished second. She said that the links reminded her of Shady Canyon where she felt at ease and at home.

Eun-Hee of South Korea was third after a 64. Wichanee of Thailand (65) and Celine Boutier (69), were in a share fourth place.
