PGA Tour player Max HomaWonders if the FedEx Cup Playoffs points leader should be able to lead by 2 shots over everyone else before the first hole in the season-ending Tour Championship.

Homa, referring to the staggered scoring system that the PGA Tour uses only at the Tour Championship, said, Yeah. I dont know. We talk a lot. I listen to a lot. [media]It is possible to say something about it. This is what I have been saying lately. Its not perfect, but its what I believe. I don’t know the answer, so I’m not going to complain.

I think were football, not basketball, not baseball. Is it necessary to give the Patriots a two-touchdown advantage just because they are undefeated. It feels like they should have won Super Bowl. They didnt. Thats football. Golf is something else.

Homa made the comments after posting the second-lowest round at the Tour Championship. He shot a bogey-free round of 62, which still left him 10 shots behind the leader. Scottie Scheffler.

Scheffler, the FedEx Cup points leader and Tour Championship winner, started the Tour Championship at 10 Under, at least 2 shots ahead of everyone else.

Xander SchauffeleThe fourth-ranked FedEx player, who started at 6 over, managed to score 4 shots in Fridays second round. He scored back-toback birdies and an 18th-hole eagle at East Lake Golf Club. Scheffler is still 2 shots behind Schauffele after 36 holes.

Without starting strokes Schauffele would be at 11 Under after 36 holes, Spains. Jon RahmScheffler at 10 under, Scheffler 9 under

Scheffler is now 19-under after 36 holes. He is 2 shots ahead Schauffele and 6 ahead Rahm.

Its more manageable, but he plays good golf, right? Rahm spoke of Scheffler. And were just going to have to keep going and continue to play good golf. It will take a really strong week from me and hopefully not from Scottie. Thats what were trying to find.
