The group at 69 included Tom Pernice Jr.He is currently at No. 44 in the standings. If he can maintain his position for two days, he would be projected as moving up. Scott McCarron (No. 54 also had a score of 69 and was projected just outside 36.
Vijay SinghAfter nine holes, he withdrew due to a foot injury. He will not be eligible in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship the second time he has played in the past three years.
