According to an official release, David Feherty, Broadcaster, has joined the Saudi-funded LIV Golf Invitational Series.
Feherty, who is known for his unique style of personality and style, has been a regular guest on NBC Golf Telecasts and the Golf Channel since joining the network back in 2015.
Feherty said that this was a unique opportunity to tell a story and help to write a new chapter of the sports history. LIV Golf is working on innovative ideas that will engage the next generation of players, fans, and players. Im excited about the energy LIV Golf has created and Im eager for a world-class broadcast production with a vision toward the future.
Feherty will make a debut at the tours third tournament later this month at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, New Jersey. Feherty, a former professional golfer who won five titles on Europes Tour in 1991, was a champion in the Ryder Cup. He then switched to broadcasting in 1997.
Arlo white is already the host for tournaments on LIV Tour. The streams are available on YouTube and on the LIV website. White was the long-serving Premier League play-by–play commentator at NBC before he left for LIV earlier in the year. The LIV broadcast team also includes Dom Boulet, Jerry Foltz, and Troy Mullins, who are analysts and on-course commentators.
Charles Barkley, TNTs CEO, stated that he had met with Greg Norman, the CEO of LIV Golf, about a possible broadcasting job earlier in the week. The Basketball Hall of Famer is not. According to the New York PostIt would have to be a very lucrative deal for him not to leave his eight-figure salary as an NBA analyst for TNT, and as a spokesperson for multiple companies.
The LIV tour has been criticised because it is funded by Saudi Arabias Public Investment Fund.
